QULIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- M.D.

 Jordan University Medical College. Amman, Jordan ( 1978-1984).

- Clinical Experience

 Farah Hospital : Amman, Jordan. ( February 1986 – August 1993).

I was enrolled as a member in the IVF unit at Farah hospital which was dealing with an average of 200 IVF cycles monthly.

I gained a wide experience in all aspects of infertility investigations and management under the supervision of the head of the unit (Dr. Zaid Kilani).

I was the first person responsible for ovum pick ups and embryo transfers and follow-up of all IVF cycles outcome, regulating medical lectures and clinical meetings.

 AL-Amal Maternity Hospital: Amman, Jordan. (Nov. 1993 – present) This hospital is one of the most famous maternity hospitals in Jordan. It consists of 40 beds, dealing with arround 2500 - 3000 deliveries and 2000 gynaecological procedures per year. It has a separate ART unit with an average of 100 IVF & ICSI cycles monthly, in addition to assisting conception procedures like PESA , TESE, electoroejaculation, blastocyst culture assisted hatching and PGD.

I joined AL-Amal IVF unit staff as a consultant in ART field. I am responsible for the training of the junior staff in this area and organization of the work. A special area of interest to me is clinical research. This is reflected by many oral presentations in major conferences and several publications in internationl scientific journals.
